An anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong shooting target 6500 white lacquer over TM Cobb pre- hung doors sanded with mirka gold 220 paper and as it dries I'm seeing this Wall Ceiling Pattern Tile Wallpaper ML

Are your prehung doors primed from the factory? Looks like the laquer is reacting to a water based primer....

Yes pre primed hardboard skin. Was hoping the sanding would limit that. Should I pre-prime the doors with a sealer?

If you got rid of the laquer and used a waterbourne paint it might save you the hassle of trying prime away your laquer failure.

On the other hand, an old forum member used to have his signature read,"always reprime the preprime." Whuch was good advice.
