Old topic, I know....today was the seasonal arrival of the cracking/burning fingertips. Anybody else? I broke out the jar of "No Crack" (unscented). Better than O'Keefe's for me.

This even happens in the Cali weather, I think it's because the air is dry.

I find that O'Keefes Working Hands seems to dry out too fast. How does that Bag Balm compare?
Bag Balm does not dry out. It will absorb in to your skin and/or wipe off.

It's sort of the same consistency as Vaseline only heavier & thicker.

Works great.

I've found the burning is due to having my skin burned off with a base, while cracking is due to the oil being removed from them.

For me, once I got the base issue addressed/neutralized, what worked best for me is udderly smooth cream, but the one in the jar as it's thicker than the ones in the squeeze tubes. I have and have used the various bag balms and have settled in on this one.
