So I was in Indy this weekend visiting my parents for the holiday and they start telling me about how this neighbor had brought over his roofer the other day to show them hail damage on their roof.

Long story short.... my mom starting doing some research on this guy and happened upon this and wanted to show it to me.

www.rhproofing.com

Talk about an ex-employee with an axe to grind, this is taking it to the extreme. My mom also said she found ads posted by this ex-employee every single day about this roofer on craigslist with pretty much the same crap.

I don't know either of these guys, but first of all I would say the ex-employee is an idiot for driving up from Florida to help this guy, did he really expect a legit contractor to need some guys help from Florida to sell jobs? Secondly, the employer is an idiot for not having this domain name registered in his name in order to prevent this from happening or at least trying to stop this guy after he started posting this crap.

My god, all this for two weeks worth of unpaid work. I'm a strong believer in that there are 2 sides to every story but bottom line is that I think this guy needs to find a real gig and stop chasing paychecks across the country.

My question to you would be, couldn't this be considered slander or defamation of character? I guess not if it were all true but only those two know the real truth.

It is slander and defamation.
As far as his mentioning he's a Christian a few times:blink:

Luke 6:28-30 Advises us to “. . . bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. If someone strikes you on one cheek, turn to him the other also. If someone takes your cloak, do not stop him from taking your tunic.”

Now I wouldn't turn my cheek, but I'm not a Christian. As for a storm chaser being a Christian, why not, but I ask "What kind of Christian"?

This is a bunch of slimeballs that whine when they get what they give to other people.

Every time I run across someone singing out that they are "Christian", I tend to run away. A true Christian does not need to tell you, you see it in their acts.

This is a situation when there is not enough info to make an informed decision, it is just a rant by someone. Crazy though, could you imagine having stuff like that posted at www.yourname.com?

OK you guys, that's slander. And I have it on good authority that RB uses homeless people to do all his labor. On top of that he's not even a contractor, he has an unlicensed hot dog cart on Pennsylvania Ave that has been shut down a few times for not meeting health regulations.

I agree with Handyman. To post your anger over the internet makes you look more of an idiot then the guy who supposedly did you wrong.

If, what is said on that page is true and the guy who said it can prove everything he said and that the company is really a scammer then its not considered slander or defamation.

If, everything said on that page is a lie, then he can bring a lawsuit against the guy who made these false statements.

I'll be damned, if this really is the guy that posted that site, it is amazing to me that you found this post the same day that I originally made it. So how did you find this post? Are you stalking this guy at RHP and doing a google search on him every night or what? I would think a man of your fine skills would be busy finding more suckers....I mean clients... for your latest con-artist....I mean employer.

Ok, in a effort to be fair, can I suggest that since you are new here, introduce yourself and tell us a little more about you and what you do for a living if it isn't storm chasing. You will find this goes a long way toward your credibility around here.

Also, since you are here, whats the deal with all the bible quotes? Do you really find that people respect you more by throwing that in their face?

Like I said before, I don't know either of you so I'm not going to take sides on the whole payout issue but I do have my own opinions on both of you and something tells me you belong together.

Oh the power of CT still amazes me!!!!
