I have the M18 and use it a lot. I do not have trouble making precision cuts. The grip is placed pretty much at the balance point.

 

I have the M18 and love it. It has good power and is so handy to have a mm cordless. I find that most of the time I use a mm it.is for brief precision cuts. The Milwaukee does a great job.

 

I have the M12 one and like the way it works. Battery last fair , I use the bigger one in it though.

 

I've got the M18. I don't have any issues using it for precise work. I used to use a corded Bosch that I really liked but the cordless convenience is just too nice.

I bring the corded Bosch along on jobs where we will need more than one OMT.

 

I have had corded Fein, corded bosch, 18v Makita, 12v Milwaukee, and 18v Milwaukee.
Corded Fein, 18v Makita and 12v Milwaukee are all dead. 18v Milwaukee still doing well. Corded bosch almost looks new, as it sees little use.
Both Milwaukees are well balanced and easy to use. I do wish the blade change mechanisms were similar to the bosch system.

 

I have the corded fein, 12v bosch, 18v makita, 20v dewalt, m18 milwaukee, of them the 20v dewalt is my favorite.

 

I have a Makita 18volt version and an M12 version. The M12 version tends to get used far more as in 85% of the time. The light weight is worth everything, but it does lack a little power if trying to cut thru say 2x4's. The M12 fits inside a 2x4' wall thru a small cutout! For drywall and such the M12 rocks! The smaller batteries work for me but they do get tore up fairly quickly. Good thing a charger is usually nearby, and I have plenty of batteries. My 4.0amp battery seems to live under the M12 light.

I frefer my Fein to those...:laughing:

 

Any one know where you can buy more agressive wood cutting blades for them? The finer tooth ones just don't last long.

 

The jap cut blades cut amazing for the first couple inches, then they are garbage. I use all bi-metal blades, don't cut as fast but last a long time.

 

I picked up the M18 on the way to the job today.
Used it for some sheetrock ..that I needed to get access to. Only a couple of squares. Nothing crazy. BUT, it is balanced, even with the 5.0 battery I had on it.

Now, just waiting for the backorder on their new nailers to make it to my door
