I live and work on the Eastern Shore an d work for and by myself. I am fully lic. and insured and am wondering what kind of money to bill myself out at on time and materials jobs.per hour
I think from what I have read here and heard else where somewhere between $20-$80 an hour. I know it is a huge spread, but that is because it is really impossible to know what you are worth just by your post. That number depends on overhead, what type of work you do, how long you have been in business, ect...
I'm not even totally sure I understand the question. Are you asking what you should pay yourself or are you asking what you should bill the customer?
If you are asking what you should pay yourself then see my reply above. If you are asking what you should charge the customer then that totally depends on your situation. How much money do you need to charge to stay in business? Only you know your overhead and necessary profit margin.
