About 5 months ago we poured a dining room table top, the customer did not like the color, sooo i ended up with a 1800lb table top sitting around my yard... My plan was to one day design and pour a concrete base. We poured this base last week, They weight about 600lbs each, i will acid stain them, then move and install the MONSTER TOP.. I used Galv fence post in the design, the shape would have broken under its own weight without the posts (and it looks good) GMOD

Patio looks nice.

Don't think I ever saw finished pix.

Sidenote, i built this island for my place, some of you may remember the yellow conc top with the cutting boards built in. Well i just got around to installing the drawers. We painted the boxes with BM oil HC123, then i ordered the drawer faces to match (lazy, i know). but it matched pretty well. GMOD
