Hi guys, hoping some kind soul can give me advice.
Setting up for my garage slab, got rebar 2'x2' grid set and blocked up 4" high on bricks to keep it centered in my 9" thick slab.
Got PEX tubing tied to the grid for the infloor heat. Can't walk around in this without tripping all over, and this is before the pour when I can still see things!
Solution: Placing a double layer of 6"x6" reinforcing mesh over this, staggered overlap so I'm getting essentially a 3"x3" grid.
It's quite easy to walk on this mat of mesh without tripping on the day of the pour.
Question: will the concrete flow through this 3x3 grid or have I got big problems here? Starting to panic.
40x60' slab. Regular concrete, just the 3/4" aggregate.
If it doesn't go through, it's just over for me.
What say you? Ever been done before?
Thanks for advice!!
