Hi , i,m new to this forum and a newbie to construction as well.
My house concrete foundation is almost 1.5 ft lower than my front yard, and i don,t want to lower my front yard as i want to keep it level with the sidewalk.. The house is already framed & wrapped in Tyvek house wrap , and framing inspection is due in mid may.
The roofer has applied 1 layer torch on on the concrete foundation and taken it 1.5 ft high onto the plywood wall across the front of the house. He will also put a 2nd layer of torch on. Then the plan was to pour a 4 inch thick & almost 2 ft high concrete wall against the torch on all across the front of the house.
The front yard would then join up against the concrete wall.

Plz advice if this is the correct and waterproof way to raise the foundation ? Any other advice would be greatly appreciated.
