I am selling my house and just had an inspection that reported the black plastic inducer motor cover is cracked inside the furnace and should be replaced. Does this mean the whole motor has to be replaced or just the cover. Any idea how many $$ I'm looking at?

They are most generally sold as one piece/part The motor and inducer motor housing with blower wheel.
They can be. Depends on the dealer, his cost from his supplier, the markup, etc. You could probably ballpark it anywhere from $200.00 to $400.00 and be safe.
