This is a '71 Beetle I just did this week. I had to make the mounts for the rotisserie, but it was fairly easy. The customer was not too concerned about removing the seam sealer so I couldn't spend too much time on it.

Dyer how many hours did you have in on the gradder ?

8.5 Hours with 1/2 hr for set up and glass tapeing. (had a helper)
1.5 hrs the next day for spot's I missed.
this guy was FUSSY bad.
Cab back was fast, the front took forever to hit every angle!

Even did what we could under it to. ( but not the little light post on top??) go figure. he said it was not important?
Some rims were tender, and didn't feel like having a tire come off from the split rims...

Rather that's really super work. The furniture is always tough. Looks very nice. Did it raise the grain very much? It usually chews it up some.

I do this stuff all the time it does not raise the grain. I have gotten
pretty good at it sometimes I strip it sometimes I only take
part of the paint of to age it.

got more I will put up later.. Just finished 2 1968 Camero doors and a 55 Chevy fender that had 1/4" of bondo skimed over the whole fender.. Iv been making more money tattooing than blasting.. They are beating down my door for that and running from blasting.

I use sand on everything I turn the air down and the sand up and take my time

I'm going to find me some garage sale furniture and practice.

i have done marble too. the other half of our company looks after graveyards.

this one has a marble face and granite base and top. i have done white marble, black marble you name it. I is a expert now. lo


blasted with soda. just kept my distance and it was great. no cutting at all. smooth as silk.

Hi, What media did you use? I'm in the UK and most Beetle's here are full of rust.:thumbsup:
