In NJ, all advertising MUST have [among other things] the EC's license number.

I know for a fact the number is not above 20,000...this guy ...not so much:

This is too funny. I called this guy and he told me he could do a 200 amp service for $1,000.00 but that I would have to pull the permit.

"The materials would be about, oh I dunno, $450.00."

And to top that.... this guy sounded like somebody I used to work with years ago.
With or w/o the 34EI - see Mags sig above your posting - the number is so totally bogus ......my number from '93 is only in the 12,000's.
Mags just passed in April (?) of '09 with a 16k number........144,784......

I just noticed....Mags number is exactly 4000 higher than mine.

My license number (the card that comes with the certificate) also has that "34EIO" number before the actual licensed number. What is that all about?
"Hey, Joe, I have job for you but I can only pay you $8 per hour because there are knuckleheads out there working without a license doing services for $1,000 bucks.

Ok?"

I battle with these people through emails just to hear their stories. They got balls advertising. Change a fan here, change a fan there, I did it but I never advertised or made business cards or any of that. People today must know that's almost impossible to get caught or not much enforcement takes place.
