I have been using CA for about 5 years and have always wondered this question. When I get ready to send anything to layout I always convert it to a cad detail, add what ever I need to it, then send the cad/detail version to the layout pages. I think I do this because I came from Autocad. After using Revit for about a year I realized that all of the floor plans, sections, details, ect.. stay live when sent to a layout. I now realize that I prefer this method much more, and also that I prefer Chief Architect much more. So my question to you guys is, do you convert everything to cad in CA or do you leave them "live" and send them to layout that way?
