Any pro or cons to monogram vs mainstreet. D5 lap vs D4.
About to order monogram D5 for the sides and 7in perfection shingle for front and back. Desert tan.
I was wandering if the D5 would distort more than D4 or show more waves or imperfections.
Thank you.
Jim.

Yeah, Mainstreet is a much lesser panel. It is decent, but unless you are on a tight budget, go with the Monogram. It looks much nicer.

Just realize the J channel will be wider, so get the matching trims.

I've never notices a difference between the two reveals. It's mainly a matter of preference. Small house looks better with the D4, larger house looks better with the D5. It's a matter of scale. But neither one is wrong.

Thank you.

I don't care for the monogram it's difficult to work with and the seams are more noticeable. My supplier told me they aren't making main street and focusing on monogram. Supply issues and all that BS. I have monogram on my house because I special ordered 16' panels for a job and ordered way too much, like 10 sq too much.

My contractor ordered/put up the wrong siding. I ordered (and paid for)monogram in midnight blue And got mainstreet in pacific blue. They are trying to tell me there is almost no difference in cost and quality. Can anyone tell me what the difference is?
