you dont have to prime under the stomp tex no more then you prime under your tape or float coat, your guess on texturing is correct but im willing to bet you sshould drag your ceiling after u stomp it.
ceiling stomp /walls sand
I am doing a basement (tape,finish,tex,paint) which the rest of the house has stomp ceiling and sand walls.The stomp has sand also.Spraying sand I am familiar with , stomp I've done a little of.My question is what is the process for doing these two together?My guess would be to stomp ceiling first then spray walls and ceiling with sand.I would like to know if anyone has done this.Also,does anyone prime under the stomp texture?Thanks,I am new here,looking forward to it.
