I would like to do this to the front of my house but can’t figure out what they used? Not sure I trust the guy at the brick store, he didnt seem real confident. I love the thin look where you can still see the outline of the brick. However, it’s complete coverage vs german smear which I’m not fond of.

Can't speak to what they specifically used but they topcoated it with something... you can tell by the continued top run of brick and the bleed of the material at the line in the grout... they could've been a little more detailed on it... whenever you go past two main textures on an exterior, you're entering into it looking like a mutt land... make a decision...

Looks like it could be a Tyrlolean finish directly onto the brickwork instead of rendering the wall first. Can be put on with a hand held flicker gun, or machine for bigger jobs.
