We are required to use PT bucks only for window and door install into masonry down here. We don't wrap the bucks, and I personally haven't seen corrosion resulting from contact with the PT in properly installed aluminum windows or doors- even ones that are 30yo+. However... ...there must be a reason for the corrosion comment.

Tin, maybe I haven't been around ACQ pt when I thought I had. How serious is the corrosion issue with this? Are we talking bare aluminum is toast or is this something where standard laquer coatings on the frame can prevent this?
Remember that we also flood the attachment sides of that PT with construction adhesive. I'd guess the fasteners could corrode away, and it would make little difference. ;)

I personally think it was a HUGE mistake for the powers that be to outlaw CCA PT. This new stuff is nothing but a disaster waiting to happen.
