brick paver pricing

I'm looking to install some flatwork with a remodel job and priced brick from the yard-the 1 3j/8" 4x8 pavers are $0.50 each. Are they REALLY that expensive now?
Sounds like retail pricing to me. I get wholesale pricing which is a lot cheaper than retail
I try to talk ppl into using reclaimed solids,they make a great looking project and are fairly cheap...15 cent around here
