Hi, I am just starting a small remodeling business and was just wondering if anyone was familiar with "Paycycle" payroll software. Or any other suggestions on how I should keep books. Also is "Hometech" a good start to learn estimating ? Thanks in advance. Ed
I have used hometech for a couple years now and like it. What I figured out a while ago was to create a copy for standard additions (standard 2nd floor, standard add out) then use it as a template for all future additions. Saved me a lot of time and kept reminders in there so that I wouldn't leave items out. You may need to compare it's materials prices against what you actually get though - but that's very easy to change.
