I just purchased a used Bobcat 753 loader with standard rubber tires. Since I am using it primarily in Florida sugar sand, it tends to sink into the sand and get stuck. Are there any other options, besides tracks, like larger and wider balloon tires or something, that I can get for it, to eliminate this problem? And, if there are such a thing as balloon tires, would this be better than tracks, or not?

If it were me, I'd want to be running wide rubber tracks in fine sand. Maybe rent a set of the 'strap-on' metal tracks and see how they work first. I've never seen big tires but that doesn't mean thy're not out there.

Ain't the sugar sand fun? Big, LP tires will work, soft tracks are better.

tires

balloon tires mean bigger bounce . you have to go into the pile fast and scoop the sand quick. tracks give more stabilty on unstable ground for small equip. on large equip tracks would be to slow . i worked in a sand and gravel pit for yrs on the cape go red soxs
