I use a 600 pound Clemco pot with traditional valving.

When we run out of media we have a great blow gun at our finger tips that's awesome for clean up. I had this happen today right after finishing a job. Being able to blow off the work with 375 cfm of air beats a back pack blower any day.
What is the proper term for the set-up that allows for stopping the flow of media and air only?
Are there any members using a similar rig? Shop built or factory purchased?

Thanks,

Tom

I have a Tvll valve that I can cut off with a $1.00 plastic dial type switch from the box store. Just cuts the air line that would open the normaly closed valve. I guess you could always just close down any valve manually if you didn't have it set up.

One word of caution. No matter what system you use I suggest that you treat it much the same as you would a firearm. Treat it as if it is still blasting media. Do not blow off anything like glass or autos or in line with people. Systems can fail and some media may still escape.
