Depends on how wide the door is.

Mount a hinge, measure from the center of the pivot point to both the inside and outside wall face. The difference is how much has to come off. Set your saw to remove that angle.

 

Hope you have some stout framing, 4" thick doors are going to be rather heavy.

according to my drawing a 36" will work with a 1/4" gap
at 4" thick the gap at the back is close to 1/2"

 

The door opening is 6 ft 11 in wide (total for the pair) x 7 ft 6 in tall. Plan to frame the door with 2x4's (perimeter) and 2x4's laying flat across the door for the strap hinges (4 hinges per door). I will cover doors with t-111 in place.

Youre going to build the frames, hang the frames, then apply the t-111? How does that work with the hinges?

 

The question makes no sense. Any required bevel would be dependent on the gap between doors which was not specified.

According to my calculations a 36" door would "grow" to 36.22" while attempting to clear a 4" thick stationary door.

 

Just did a full scale mock up with one of the hinges I plan to use...3.5 degree works fine.

 

3.5 degrees ... how much is that in inches for a 4" door?

 

Tan(3.5) = x/4

0.24"

 

7/32" at 3 deg. about a 1/4 for 3.5
