Finding a great pair of boots for hardscaping is nearly impossible because nobody has come up with a design that satisfies all the requirements. When I was installing pavers and block I was happy to get a full season from a pair. The only thing I can recommend is a pair of Dakotas or Cats with a sturdy toe cap. Composite caps are nice and light, but a little redundant for boots that are going get chucked. Basically, find a decent, comfy, midrange priced pair of boots that'll handle the abuse and hope you get a solid 8 months out of them. Oh, and get a pair of steel toed rubber boots for when you have to muck out a footing or when you're cutting block at the saw.
