If I have to notch a t bar ceiling wall angle for a conduit drop I normally use tin snips and then bend it back and forward until it breaks off. Not the best way and it takes time, but it normally works. Could you tell me the preffered practice.

Step bit and router it out a bit with your drill, depends how much you need to cut away, greenlee punch will take a nice bite out of it.

Thanks for the responses. Step bit or knock out punch sounds good. I thought the ceiling guys may have a special tool such as a small flat grinder.
