I did the search thing. Would like to kinda see if anyone is in the same field and have some opinions. The oxy pouches are just way to expensive.

I was just quoting another member who posts 'nailbag talk' everytime a thread like this comes up.

Check out Bob's Leather out of CA. Fair prices and they offer customization for a lower price then the Occis.

I got a bag from Lee Valley I like. Very comfortable and holds what i need on the job. Best I have ever had.
mcrose leather. mcrosetoolbelts.com . i had occi's before. the mcrose work better for me and are equal in quality, at a better price.
Finally, a company that solved the issue on where to put our pagers. 1 4 3!

I've had a set from these guys for the last 15 years. I wear them every day on the project I'm building now, and they're as good as the day I bought them. Even better, actually.

The box bag is what I have, and I have yet to see someone with a set of bags that I like better than mine.

Not sure if you can get these around your area...but I have been a major fan of these.

If I was going to check another pair I'd check out Bobs Leather. I saw Claytons a few years ago in a thread. Be cool to have something different.

Ive only seen a few other sets of Occi's here. I have the Occidental framers and like them a lot. Havent had any issues with them.

Which set do you have? It seems they have 6 types.

EDIT: Nevermind. Sorry....missed it :)
I think it was Brutus or WoodworkbyKirk that just got a set of Task....maybe they can lend a short review of their quality.

I heard after the whole staining period they are great. But I just am not comfortable dropping 250 for a bag set.

Mine are three years old, leather suspenders and all, an only stained once. Thats in Texas heat.

It was a little over 300 with the suspenders, but I imagine they will last 30 years. Thats 10 a year. My Bucket Boss bags generally lasted 2 years and were 50 bucks. Thats 25 a year.

I have this set.

Actually I swapped the belt for a weight lifting belt from Academy when I first got them (heavier belt with double tongue), and I've replaced the hammer holder probably 4-5 times.

So do they have a square pocket? I like the bags that usually in total have about 11 pockets. But those look neat.
