I have a job coming up where i'm doing several improvements at a row home, one of which is a 5' slider (Andersen Frenchwood).

Due to the existing unit being trashed from exposure and lack of maintenance, I figured I'd try to up sell a small door canopy for added protection. Owner agreed but didn't want it to project more than 2ft out off the wall. I said it should be 3ft min., but I'd give it good pitch and some hips and everything should look fine. It's 6' 4" wide; 12/12 -16/12; wide enough to cover the door including finished trim.

Since I got home early today, I figured I'd get a jump start and framed her up,...not so sure I'm liking the scale???

Any thoughts? or am I having a brain fart?

Hard to see proportion on the horses, and no pic if the roofs it being proportioned against.

Why are the hips unequal? Commons should all be the same length IMO.

Or is that the "Bastard" part?
