I have a raised ranch with two finished rooms downstairs. When i finished the rooms i ran a duct to each room, i knew it wasn't going to work great, and installed a gas fireplace to supplement the heat. My dilemma, my 19 year old son has decided to move his bedroom down there. So i need some form of working heating that will keep the rooms warm for 3 months of the year.
I don't really care what kind; electric, forced air...., just want it to work and be reasonably efficient. Total area is app.400sq ft.

Thanks
Tim

If he's 19, he'll be putting off enough heat to keep the place warm.

Just get yourself one of those electric oil filled radiators. It will drive you out of there.
