I also use the Super Taper.
The Delko Zunder gets highmarks on one of the FB forums I'm on. I've never used it.

What's the advantage over hand tools?
The banjos or Super Tapper apply the compound to the tape, makes application of the tape faster.
I tried banjos long ago, could never master them. That’s why I went to the ST. The new models are probably much better now.

Ok, for speed. I figured it was mainly due to not having mastered the use of hand tools.

Why would you master the use of hand tools when auto tools do a better and faster job? You can basically take anyone off the street and teach them in a day how to finish drywall.

I don't see them being efficient on smaller jobs.
While finishing drywall in this area since 1986 I only recall seeing the boxes used a half dozen times. I haven't had much exposure to them & 1 of the crews had to touch up a lot by hand before their work could be sanded.
Probably left a bad impression.
Being able to teach someone quickly is a big advantage. It can take months to get a new guy to finish decently.

Found this one for only $200, wonder what makes the other one worth $300. I can totally see $200, these things have an extremely limited market and the production runs have to be pretty small.
