Anybody work with Avonite counter surfacing? I found the local distributer and a local fabricator, got the sample kits now I'm just not sure if I want to sell the stuff to my customers or not.

Anybody with experience with this stuff in regard to the surface holding up, it looks way prone to scratching, especially the darker colors and the gloss surface finished ones?

Looks really easy to work with, all router based.

Isn't Avonite basically someone elses version of Corian? Scratches and cuts are easy to take out of Corian-- couldn't say for sure on Avonite.

Yes, it is in the same group of products such a Corian. It is a man-made solid surface resin based product like Corian, Gibraltor, Ceasarstone. Corian seems more scratch resistant. Just looking at my samples I can scratch the suface of a highly glosses sample with my finger nail. That is making me a bit nervous, because I can only imagine what a surface will look like after a pot or pan moves over it for a few months.
