I want to attach the extensions to a 10" hitachi saw. The Kapex will just be my trim saw and the other saw used for other jobs. It looks like I need to add somekind of bar like the Kapex. But what? Thought about usin a hinge leaf.

Wondering if you guys got a better idea.

Make a V-groove in a wood bracket, bolt the bracket to the side of the Hitachi.

The V-groove on the Festool products is one of those things that makes the system come together. You can make your own male or female V-grooves for your own accessories.

I like the stand idea. Is that an outlet attached to your makita radio?
Yes it is. I ran the radio cord though the box into a plug inside where the battery goes. It's a great time saver and gives me a reason to play the radio on quiet job sites.

There is no gfi on the setup sin e I already had the 4 way box. This winter I will probley change it out or buy a gfi short cord to plug in.

The stand was cheap. Something like$50 from amazon I think. I like it better then the festool stand because I can make legs longer and with the plywood on top it will fit any saw or used as a small table. Plus it folds very small into the truck.
