Hey everyone,
I am new to this forum, been in the business about 15 years.
Just wanted to get some opinions on Atrium doors. My supplier wont have anything to do with them, which is fine but the HO is a pain in the A--.
Just want to have back up info
Any feed back would be appreciated.
Thanks

What is it you'd like to know more about? A certain manufacturer? Configuration?

Are you asking about installation details? Longevity?

Who is your supplier, and what's their beef?
Atrium doors

Are they any good?
I use Cape cod lumber from Ma. and they wont even order replacement parts never mind the doors themselves. What do you know about Atrium?

Peachtree makes the center swings too.

Hey ,
Peachtree is another company they won't have anything to do with.
Maybe time for a new lumberyard?
If you're speaking of Atrium, the manufacturer, I have no direct experience with them. I've used Marvin, Andersen, Loewen, Pella, Therma-Tru, and probably a few others I can't remember.

For historic work, I typically order slabs from Simpson or Lemieux and have the yard hang them in an exterior jamb, with throw bolts on the semi-functional side and a T-astragal for weather stripping the center.
