How much coverage do you get from the various paints you use?

Look on the upper section of the back of the can. It will tell you.
(Never works out that way).

Standard interior latex has a coverage area of 300-400 sqft per gallon. On smooth walls and ceilings I can usually sqeeze out 300.

And it always depends on how thick of a roller your are using. Dont forget about 2nd coats either.

When the rear of the can says "300-400 sqft" per gallon, dont plan on the 400.

Manufacturers figure on a white wall and who knows what application method. I'd like to see them start with Barbie Pink, definitely not covered in one coat.
On small jobs, I usually figure about 20% less than the minimum, on larger jobs, 10%. Sprayed primer, seal it or write off the first coat at least. Cheap, white paint will throw a gray cast to your first coat if you decide to go gloss.
