I realized instead of hijacking someone else's thread, I should create my own.

I recently rebranded and launched a new website for Ace Quality Painting located in Orange County, CA. We have been a family operated business for over 25-years.

I like the less is more approach when it comes to branding and marketing and want to reflect it on the website. We want users to easily navigate and find information instead of being bombarded with ads and in your face marketing. We are trying to reach all clients but mostly aiming for the higher end residential market here in Orange County.

Its a good attempt but missing out on some key on page seo techniques. For example dont use the company name in the page title at the beginning of it anyhow. Preferably not at all.

The site is small, build out residential and commercial services pages for every service you have. They could be sub pages of the parent page residential/commercial.

Your header is meh, get someone to make you a nice one.

There are better options then to use the search provided by wordpress that gives you results via analytics. The WP search doesnt operate very well in general.

The footer is nice but could use some "style"

I would disable comments as they dont translate to a bump in the serps and cannot hold a candle to what social shares and interaction can do for a blog post. If you have comments enabled and in 6 months there is none visitors notice.

Use WP date remover unless you can keep it updated consistently in the future...when you get sick of writing blog posts lol.

your blog is nice, nice linking, good use of words, good photos.

Im not a fan of the green background. I kinda think painting websites should have something resembling the color samples like at Lowes, or something. Or even spilled paint of different colors. Something creative I suppose.

JBM has given you some good advice. I'll just add one thing...

Title tags are probably the single most important "simple" thing anyone can do with their website especially someone doing it on their own.

If there is one thing not to mess up it's your page titles.

Your homepage title right now is:

OC & LA Paint Contractor|Interior & Exterior Paint Specialist AQP

This is a messy title. You are also located in Fullerton California. You'll have a better chance at ranking locally if you focus here first.

Interior and Exterior Painting Contractor in Fullerton, CA | AQP <-- a better page title.

Your page description could read:

AQP is a painting contractor based in Fullerton California and serving all of Orange County. We focus on Interiors and Exteriors for Commercial and Residential clients. (169 characters)

You should be applying unique and descriptive titles to every page targeting a specific keyword(s) + location.

One thing that I noticed was that the older pictures make it seem like the website isn't updated often. :no:
If you could crop out the 2005 in a few of those photos in the main slider I think that would look better. :thumbsup:
