Just looking for input on the color swatch software
Supposedly, you can snap a pic of the customer's room, d-load the pic onto the machine, and wahla: a pic of their actual room changing color

I would think it would help sell, and help the dawdlers decide on a color
I would think just being able to do that would sway an undecided over to you if they are on the fence with a few painters

Anyone use it? Like it? Hate it? Time waster? The ultimate closer?

Yep, I use it. But only on high-ticket items where it will help with the close.
I offer it as a service, for $100, 2 pics of 2 rooms, with 2 color schemes each. Takes me maybe 30 minutes to do it, and I email the results.
I've only had 3 takers in a year to do it, but oh well.........
For the hi-ticket jobs, I will do it for free if I think it will help close the deal.
I've only done it once on-site at the estimate, the rest were sent by email later.

The software from BM for "us" is supposed to be better than the freebee, but that gives you an idea
Snap a pic of the room
Put the pic in the comp
Show the H/O the pic
Click the color chart
Change the color of their room in the pic
H/O gets a view of their room in the color

Can't recall why, just said it to a prospective customer one day, and they bit. Maybe Ii was shy lunch money that day.

I use Sherwin Williams painting images.
I charge 75.00 first half hour this is for set up time and 35.00 for each half hour after that. Great for the customers that can't settle on colors:help:

I believe that the BM disk sells for around $15.00, they gave me mine. I mostly just play with it. BTW, it doesn't care what pic you put in, you can "paint" cars, boats and anything else.
