This is a small piece of decking removed from an existing deck we're adding on to. The actual dimensions are 1.25 x 5.5. The texture looks and feels like it was "combed".

Any ideas/guesses are appreciated.

The piece in the pics was ripped down to about 2.5". A full width is 5.5. ChoiceDek has the scalloped bottom but is only 1.175 thick and has a different texture.

I went through 26 composit decking websites today with - No Joy.

Don't give up.

I think AFrame nailed it, I knew I had seen it before & just couldn't place it - older version when they offered a non slip or wood look version (I think Trex tried something similar - non slip one side, wood look the other)

Framerman - you'll love there explanation for the ridges - first is so that the board lays flat, second is for increased air flow to prevent damage to the framing --- personally it looks like a good area for all the bugs to hang out
