Hey all! New to the site but seems to be pretty informative and helpful. I live in central KY. and I gotta tell ya' I've been tryin' every which way I can to get new business but hitting walls. I do pretty much all low voltage; 24 and under; phone. computer, audio/video etc. I think I need some fresh ideas, by the way, no license needed here.....yet:clap:.

Thanks in advance,

Welcome Frank,

If no license is required where you are, no one can fault you for not being licensed. The problem is that any schmoe can say they are qualified without having any way to back up their statement.

But the real question is if licensing were required, could you pass the test?

Not a problem, I've been in this business in one shape or form for 30 years.

Preferred low voltage brands?

Hello Frank,

What is your preferred low voltage brand? Do you hold any vendor certifications..i.e. leviton or other? and/or do you offer the factory backed warranties?

Any stimulus generated datacomm projects out there?

No work here

Preferred use to be Panduit until they came out with the new line of connectors. I guess it still would be if there was a surplus of mini-com out there.

I do offer the warranties and I am certified in Panduit, T&B and Leviton.
As far as work goes, I haven't had a day of work in over a week. I'm starving out here. How about you and where are you located?

Hey Frank,I am in southern California. I am a product manager for ICC. I had to say things are really quite everywhere.. the project pipeline has been quite nationally in last few weeks.
