In a commercial restaurant is there a code requirement that specifies the condition (on/off) of the air conditioning equipment in the event fire extinguishing equipment is activated? If so can I get the specific code reference?
I have a customer that has a number of location where the control panel wiring has jumpers across terminals intended for wiring going to a micro switch in the Ansul system. It is my understanding in the event the Ansul system is activated by a fire the micro switch opens and shuts down the roof top AC units to stop pumping oxygen into the building. I need clarification on this and the particular code reference.
Thank you.
