I'm pricing more and more projects out of my standard "wall & patio" stuff.
I'm looking at an all concrete house built in the 30s. Concrete walls and concrete beam and slab roof.
The owners are putting on a second story. My job besides extending one chimney and capping off another is to patch in stucco around doors and windows that get moved.
Some of the windows will be 6" smaller on each side. I'm thinking of shooting some kind of bolts into the jambs and laying in some concrete brick, so I'm not trying to patch stucco from the concrete walls to a wood substrate.
Does this sound like a good idea?
