Hi, I have been in commercial construction for the past 16 yrs. My last company packed up and left San Diego. I was with them 11 years straight and I'm bummed. I was a layout man/foreman for a metal studs, drywall, lath and plaster company. Well hears my story I've had a GC license in my pocket for past 10 years on non-active. I just got the minimum bond requirements and paid the fees. I enrolled for a small business class at local community college and am determined to learn the rest. I just don't want to grow old knowing I had a license and never tried to work for myself. I am searching for any advice in helping me succeed. I really don't know anything about the business and law side, also bidding work. Looking for good programs on contracts, bidding, scheduling.
Thank you
Tito
