Encountered rock on this little job. Drilled it and set the dexpan last Friday.

The rock fractured but did not come loose. Ended up having to bring in the mini ex with the hammer to get it out.

I have to say that had we not used the dexpan I'd still be hammering on this stuff. The fact that it was fractured helped in the removal.

Maybe because it was too tightly buried, or the particular type of rock? Learning curve...
