I got my new WC policy in the mail today. When i was looking it over my premiums had jumped up 30%! I have my agent on it. I know numbers are frowned upon, however can anyone give me a ball park of your per $100 rates? I know our trade is up there, but this company is looking to sink my ship! Thanks

Since WC is state by state and even regions within a state, your comp rate will be as such.

There can also be modification factors based on experience rating and other discounts relative to your specific situation.

As a general question across the forum you cannot get an accurate answer.

Maybe with some more specifics.

About 8.9 per hundred here for concrete flatwork and about 14.1 per hundred for masonry, 2 stories or less.

Also, I've been very fortunate not to use it much in the last 7 years or so, and our experience mod. is somewhere around .93, so we see cheaper actual rates.

Lastly, I've been extremely fortunate to get some VERY generous WC dividend returns for the last 4 years, making my actual WC cost much lower.......
