Does anybody have any experience with this new type of siding? I am in Florida, they are expecting to get product approval soon. What about Everlast (norandex)?

why is that?

The glue which is used to affix the insulation to the vinyl doesn't breath thereby renedering the permabilty moot. Insulation should remain fixed in place on the wall and not move with the siding opening gaps at seems and such.

The drop in PF is just a better job

the glue does'nt totally cover the insulation.the permeabilty would still be in place?
on regular insulation, the thicker it is the lower the perm rating. 3/4" insulation board only has a perm rating of 1(not very permeable)
perhaps you are referring to full back?

Oh yes, I thought that's what you were referring to, like a crane or something. PF (full back) is all we use nowadays
