Hi my name is Dave. I'm 30 years old, and have 2 children. A boy, almost 5, and a little girl, 5 months old.
Im a carpenter, mostly, out here on the big island of Hawaii. I've been working around construction of some type since I finished Highschool, everything from digging ditches and raking gravel to servicing and operating bulldozers and backhoes.
For the last couple years or so I've been working primarily with one GC doing houses from foundation to finish. It has been a great way to learn all the trades involved. We sub out drywall, and the plumbing and electrical, but everything else we do ourselves for the most part.
I'd just like to thank all the people on this site for sharing their experience and wisdom with those of us just getting started I the trades.
