Anyone in the process of renewing their Alabama Contractor License? I received my renewal application in the mail, and this year they will only accept a financial statement on their own form- how ridiculous is this? We are large a corporation which spends over $10,000 per year for an audidted financial statement, and the state of Alabama will not accept it (they have accepted it the previous two years) because it is not on their form. This will cost me about $1,500 for our independent accountants to transfer the numbers to the states form from our current audit. I have called the Board, and all I get is "it is required."
