I have given some thoughts to this debate,,, since adhesive tape is cheaper and quicker than paper or mesh,,, could i get some of you guys that have been doing drywall for years to go ahead and tell me its okay to use it????? instead of paper tape, cause ya know,, it may take me a year or two to learn how to use paper tape,,, just saying ya know???

I'll assume this thread is aimed at bashing mesh tape. Hopefully someday someone will teach you when, where and how to use mesh tape correctly.
Maybe then you can also have him teach you how to finish drywall clean enough that you don't need to sand with a Porta Cable Sander.:whistling:laughing:

I personally use Sellotape, but always make sure I leave enough for wrapping christmas and birthday presents. Obviously at the moment, i'm not using any tape at all because it's not long now before Santa comes. I did try Duct tape once, but find that's better for my other business, kidnapping.
