Has anyone tried to use Quicken Home and Business for this purpose? I may be cheap but I'm annoyed by the fact that you have to pay a fee to download account info from your bank through Quickbooks but not through Quicken.
We have a customer who tried Quicken Home & Business as an accounting solution. They found that many of the category list items for expenses and incomes, and associated tax schedules defaulted more to the home side of accounting. When they finally ran the P&L many of the items where not showing up. It took quite a bit of configuration in the category list to accommodate the business accounting.
