It is nice to see someone go to the trouble to add that detail.

I see lots of old walls that have the bead, but very rare that any masons around here will take the time to add that detail, even when repairing or adding to an historic wall that already has that look.

Maybe they don't know how/have the skills.

Well done...give yourself a pat on the back!
That wall is roughly 5' X 32', took me over 4 hours to do that one side. Pain in the arse, but worth the time.:thumbsup:

Agreed, the joints do look nice with that type of stone work, good job.
