Some follow up on this 'idle' thread... There was a bit more to this project than just the chimney.

A little 'back-tracking' to start;
There are two fireplaces (back to back) on this Island Cottage project. We began the rough-ins and stonework in the fall of 2015. The winter of 2015-16 was a mild one and we didn't have reliable ice conditions for much of the winter so winter work on this particular project slowed somewhat. Managed to get back at it full swing in April 2016 and were complete by late June 2016.
