I've done a few that way, and I don't like it. You don't have any room to work around all the bridging. But this house had an old hand dug cellar in the center of the house. They dug out one side and tore out that one wall. Then dug the basement bigger, poured footings and floor, then I went in. Wasn't nothing in my way, just so small wasn't no room to put anything.......
