$2500.00 in Retraining $$, What would you do?

I have $2500.00 in retraining dollars to use from an old employer. I need to use them by Spring 2010. Any worthwhile schools or seminars in the South East to use the funds?
The only thing I know of is Thermowood's Cabinet S/W class but I don't plan on using the CNC products in my future.
Thanks,
Steve

What does this money cover? Wouldnt hurt to hire soemone for 1st aid, CPR and Defib training. This would also possibly help your insurance rates?? Of course i would advise buying all the tools you need for "examples" of dangerous equipment so the instructor has something to work with. When the re-training is doen you can then use those tools on jobs, thats called recycleing:thumbsup:.

Depends if you want to stay in construction.

In this economy if I had retraining money I would use it towards a mechanics classes.

If I didn't change carrers with it I could still use the automotive knowledge as a paying hobby or working on personal/work vehicles.
