17,000 Volts.

I'm an electrical contractor in San Diego, CA. I offer preventative maintenance (analyzing panels via IR and Thermography followed by cleaning and torquing). I have been offered a job doing this maintenance on some 17,000 volt transformers at a senior mobile home park.... Good money... Do I need special licensing for this? I have certification in IR and Thermography. I won't be performing any of the repairs that I find, just taking images, vacuuming, and torquing the connections. I'm already in the works of getting a liability quote from my insurance guy...

Like an "Over 12KV" endorsement for your C-10??
A 17 KV transformer owned by the senior park and not the utility?
